“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”
-Martin Luther King Jr.
We live in a time and age where there is absolutely NO excuse for being ignorant or stupid. The amount of information, resources, and opportunities to learn are boundless. We can learn something new every single day if we want to. Being educated is a choice and you do not have to be enrolled in school to learn. Seek the information. Talk to people. Experience new things. Live life. And form your own opinions based on all that you learn.
On Martin Luther King Day we are celebrating the legacy of a man who brought hope, healing, and inspiration to America and the world. He is a prime example of leading by example and his leaderships taught us about the values of:
- Unconditional Love
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dreamed of a colorblind world and society with racial justice and equality. He spoke his truth then walked the walk creating a movement to achieve these goals in a non-violent way. This man taught us all through leading by example that nonviolent action is the most powerful, revolutionary force for social change available to oppressed people in their struggles for liberation.
