Week 4 and My 1st Month is Complete!

IMG_4446

January was all about trying to increase my energy.  It was a busy month with my full-time work schedule in full swing.  I made lots of changes with my circle of friends and association.  Break-ups suck even if the person wasn’t right for you, but at some point you must choose to be strong and move on.

I can tell that I was dealing with a little depression this past month.  Even when I got significantly more sleep, I was still feeling groggy, exhausted, and at times unmotivated.  I have my heart set on continuing to heal naturally and I believe that will require a routine, thinking positively, and living an active lifestyle.

This month was also full of many victories.  Even though I was exhausted and at times unmotivated, I still made it a point to challenge myself and try new things.  I started teaching water group fitness classes and I am looking forward to growing as an instructor.  I have also been more actively attending zumba and Mixxedfit classes on the weekends and I want to learn my choreography and set goals around teaching.  I let go of some toxic relationships (which is always challenging for me.)  I have made new friends and am looking forward to learning and growing with them.  I want to surround myself with positive, uplifting, and optimistic people.

This year is off to a Great start and I am looking forward to many more grand adventures.

February

Focus On Faith

  • Go to church on Sunday
  • Indulge in my lust for Cathedrals
  • Meditate
  • Sing (my favorite form of prayer)

This month I will continue working on increasing my energy levels, but I am also adding a Focus On Faith.  My faith and values are a big part of who I am and who I would like to become.

This week I will set some goals to help me stay on track:

  1. Begin every day with my Morning routine and get 7 hours of sleep every night.
  2. Workout 5 times this week and plan out my strength training workouts.
  3. De-clutter daily.
  4. Plan ahead and prepare.
  5. Act more energetic.
  6. Eat Clean.
  7. Keep a food journal.
  8. Meditate.
  9. Sing.
  10. Go to church on Sunday.

I think this is a good place for me to start.  I hope February will be a Fantastic month for you.  What are your goals for this month?

Love, Joy, and Blessings Always,

Alana
