When You Stop Growing It Is Time To Get Going

I remind myself of this often.  Especially throughout the times when I feel discouraged or stuck.  I need to be in a place and environment where I can learn, grow, and thrive.  Sometimes you can stay in place and just change your perspective.  Give your life a paradigm shift.  Other times you have to physically uproot and move to a place where you can learn and grow.  Being stuck and stagnant is a choice and an attitude.  At the same time learning, growing, and moving forward is also a choice that takes ACTION!

If you feel stuck, take a deep breath, slow down, and start thinking about what is really important to you…  Mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally.  If that’s too much then start small with just one thing.  Then begin dreaming and setting goals that will lead you towards your dreams.  Surround yourself with positive, uplifting people and make it a point to grow.

“Intelligent, successful, attractive people can be intimidating.  They force us to hold a mirror to ourselves.  We can be disappointed and jealous or inspired toward personal growth.”  -Ian K. Smith

I am always so inspired by people who can freely and unapologetically live their truth.  They stay true to their values and beliefs and are not easily swayed and influenced by the people who choose a different path.  It is easy to be intimidated by other people and feel down about the fact that there are women out in the world who are smarter, more beautiful, and seem to have it way more together.  Yes, the world is filled with so much talent and beauty, but it does not have to make us feel sad about ourselves.  Recognize the beauty and good qualities then focus on how you can be your very best.  We all have amazing talents, gifts, and ideas, and if we share them all together then we can do amazing things together.

Let’s stop the bitching, gossip, and jealousy.  Instead, be the best that you can possibly be!!!
