I don’t know exactly what my rating scale is. I just know that I am on a journey to become the BEST version of myself that I can possibly be. This journey will last my entire life so I figure that I will hopefully get a chance to someday approach 100. In the meantime, I will enjoy each day that I have.
I am trying to think of my life and aspects in my life as a marathon rather than a short sprint. Why rush something that is going to last forever? What kinds of people, relationships, and things do I want in my life and what qualities do I strive to live with?
I am shifting my focus from making little temporary changes and quick fixes like diets and am trying to build a more long-lasting foundation. I want to focus on designing a healthy lifestyle that encompasses my values and helps me to thrive rather than just survive.
I am a team-player and very supportive of the people that I love. In order to continue being supportive, I need to build myself up and be strong. Do things that bring me joy and bring out the best in me. Yesterday I went for a run for the first time in a long time and it felt wonderful. This morning I went to a masters’ swim workout for the first time in possibly years. It feels so good to challenge myself.
