I am starting to get back into my workout groove! I made it to 9:30 Zumba and I am so glad that I did! Last week in Zumba class I felt heavy and uncoordinated. Luckily this time around I felt better and was able to follow along! I love Zumba because it feels like a party every time!!!
Today’s Workout of the Day: ZUMBA & Swim
I always come out of zumba feeling energized and way better than I did going in! After Zumba I went for a swim in the outdoor pool. I really like the fact that the pool isn’t crowded.
- 500 freestyle every 4th 25 Backstroke
- 400 Mixed IM Kick/Drill
- 300 IM Kick/Drill/Swim
- 200 Pull 50 Free/50 Back
- 100 IM
- 400 IM kick with a kickboard
- 100 EZ free/back by 25
Butterfly Set: with fins
- 5 x 100 Dolphin Kick Front/Back/ Side Side
- 6 x 50 Butterfly 2 drill/1 swim repeat
- 100 EZ

I feel really good about today’s workout! I am really enjoying this Zumba/Swim combination. You should give it a try! I especially loved the fact that our Zumba instructor played “Love Me Like You Do” for our cool-down song.
I think this song is special to me because it was constantly playing last year when Christopher and I started seeing each other again.
“I’ll let you set the pace, cause I’m not thinking straight. My head spinning around I can’t see clear no more. What are you waiting for?”
I let go and let him set the pace and everything just fell into place <3.
