Workout and Word of the Day #61

Say what?!?!  I haven’t done a “Workout and Word of the Day” since before my birthday?!?!  I guess that sounds about right…  I have had a busy past month and have been doing other things besides working out.  We have been going on long walks fairly consistently so I think that counts for something.

I definitely know the value of strength training and finally decided this week that it was time to get back on track. This time around I am back to doing simple at-home workouts.  I am going to pick up a yoga mat later today so that I can begin doing yoga again.

Today’s Workout of the Day: Total Body

  • 50 Squats
  • 15 Push ups
  • 30 Jumping jacks
  • 50 Squats
  • 20 Dips
  • 40 Jumping Jacks
  • 50 Squats
  • 20 Push ups
  • 20 Lunges
  • 50 Squats
  • 20 Dips
  • 50 Jumping Jacks

Then later in the day we went for a nice walk around town and discovered a beautiful trail that revealed crystalline green waters.  The view was stunning and I felt like I was exactly where I should be.


Word of the Day:

aplomb-noun

  1. self confidence or assurance, especially when in a demanding situation.
