Today was a good day… I brewed us both a cup of rooibos tea and I made us a morning green smoothie for breakfast. I even found out that adding a tablespoon of oatmeal to the smoothie and some sparkling lime mineral water makes it even more delicious. But when I started rolling up my pink yoga mat, our black kitty cat Oscar decided to play pounce on my hand. Then tensions rose when I yelped with terror then my boyfriend came to assist me with rolling the mat and I refused the assist and burst into tears… I went upstairs and my calico kitty Alleyjandra meowed at my door and came in purring… She always know just what to say. Then 5 minutes later my boyfriend and I were hugging, kissing, and laughing. That’s love. ❤ Sometimes it’s messy, but it’s always worth-it in the end.
What else happened? Well, I could not get myself to concentrate on my studies… I better figure that out because Mid-terms is already on Monday…AHHHH!
We had a meeting with a potential client, but showed up to Starbucks 30 minutes early because we thought 3pm and they wrote down 3:30. It was quite the “Comedy of Errors” because it turns out that there are 4 Starbuck’s on College Road and we thought we were at the wrong one so we proceeded to search each one. Then we concluded that we got stood up, but when we got home we got a phone call and found out that we were just operating in “ReVeRsE Hawaiian Time.” In the end, we had the meeting afterall and it went well :). It is always so inspiring for me to go on our business meetings and meet with our clients because it reminds me that I can do fun things with my technology degree. It won’t always just be Zeros and Ones and Circuitry!
Later in the day we went out for a dinner date. We drove through two jam-packed parking lots because choosing Mexican and we were very good and requested to pass on the chips and salsa *that’s a 1st*. I chose spinach enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and beans.
We came home and I attempted to study then decided that it was a perfect time to workout. Here it is!
Workout of the Day: Cardio + Chest + Tris + Shoulders
*Complete each exercise 30 times or more!*
- Leg Raises
- Lateral Shoulder Raises
- Tricep Extension
- Shoulder Raises
- Kettlebell Swings (I planned on front raises but chose these instead)
After that I did this workout. You can do it too:
Cardio = 20 minute stationary bike. I was going to go longer, but then my boyfriend asked me to join him for drinks!
So we went to Hop Jacks and I chose a blueberry drop with Tempura Shrimp <3.

It has been an enjoyable day and I found my sister’s Flat Tummy Tea in my kitchen cabinet so I might give that a whirl… And yes, I do have a complete double kitchen cabinet devoted to tea… Although it could use some organization.
Yeah, it’s kind of a mess right now. I will send you an update once I organize it 😉 Stay tuned for that one!
