Happy Friday Everyone!
We are past the half-way point of October. It feels like time is flying by! Have you picked out your Halloween costume? I haven’t decided whether or not I am dressing up this year. Today was a good day, but I still struggled with focusing on my studies. I am too easily dis-tractable.
My boyfriend took me out to lunch at Ram and I ordered Calamari and Blackened Salmon Tacos. They were absolutely delicious. Another thing that I forgot to mention was that I made it all the way up to 6:30 pm without getting coffee or tea, but before that around 4:30 I felt exhausted and then was struck by a ravenous craving for something sweet or something salty… Typical. The old unhealthy version of myself trying to creep back in. I decided to try taking a “power nap” so I googled power nap to see how long one should last. After reading a couple of articles I learned that
A power-nap should last from 10 – 30 minutes and should ideally take place between 1 pm. and 4 pm.
Today’s workout was shorter than I anticipated, but I am glad that I made time for it.

What are your goals for the weekend? I have a Task List to complete over the weekend. Tomorrow I have my Afro-Brazilian Dance class then I am meeting with a friend to talk about nutrition. Other than that I need to study,study, study!
