Transform Your Life Project 2.0: Week #11

This was an exciting week for me.  After finals week, it took a little time for things to simmer down a little.  Last Friday I took my Digital Logic Final exam and I realized that I may never become a Computer Engineer and honestly, I am okay with that fact.  I know that if I could invest more concentrated focus and really put my heart and soul into it; I could probably make it happen.  The next question that I asked myself is: would I want to put my whole heart and soul into computers?…

While the thought of being able to find a good job and even work from home is so enticing; I think I want to learn about other things that have interested me for most of my life.  I don’t want to completely give up on computers, but I think I need to learn at my own pace and develop a lot more context and experience that may someday lead to understanding.

I have always been interested in helping others, the human body, health & fitness, growing stronger, and healing from injuries.  I hope that I will be able to find a path for myself along this journey.  I do know that I want to pursue a science degree so at least I have that narrowed down!

This week was full of grand adventures.  I got to drive down and back from San Francisco and it was totally worth the trip.  Sometimes it is nice to get away and see new places and faces.

And now I am so thrilled that it is spring break!!!  What perfect timing. I just know that I need this time to recover, reflect,rejuvenate, and prepare for spring quarter.  This will also be a perfect time to do some spring cleaning!!!  I am at the point with my wardrobe where I don’t love everything that I own and my go-to items that I do adore are becoming a little worn and tattered.  I think it is time to purge and re-organize.

Another project I will be thinking about is my fitness journal that we are doing for spring quarter.  We are supposed to choose some kind of workout program, keep a weekly fitness log, and stick with it for 10 weeks.

Do any of you have any good ideas for a 10 week workout program?  My goals are: lose weight, get healthy, increase muscle, increase endurance, increase flexibility.  So yeah, I basically want it ALL  If you have any good ideas, please comment below.  I would definitely LOVE to hear them!!!  I am very open-minded and would try anything from running to martial arts I am hoping to find something that would not be expensive since I am a thrifty college student.

March:

Meditation and Mindfulness

  • Meditate.
  • Breathe Deeply.
  • Practice Yoga.
  • Sing.
  • Begin Spring Cleaning.

As far as my March goals, the only thing that I have done so far is begin spring cleaning.  I think Spring break is a perfect time to infuse those other goals int my life too.  I am hoping to spend more time journaling, reading, and blogging and less time planning and playing video games.  We hsall see how that goes!
