Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I am feeling sleepy so I will keep this brief. This morning I had a 2 hour dance workshop which really got me to work up a sweat. I love how happy and alive I feel when I am dancing. I want to start working on feeling more comfortable with unchoreographed dancing. Our professor wanted us to freestyle a lot to music and it felt completely different because I was so unsure about what to do. I know that with some practice I will be able to flow.
Workout of the Day: Bellydance + Arms
Yesterday I did a lower-body workout so I wanted to make sure that I spent some time working on my arms today. This Bellydancing workout was sensual and fun and an excellent arm workout:
I wanted to do an arm workout that would ease me into future arm workouts so I chose this arm workout for dancers:
I thought about doing yoga, but it was already late by the time I started working out so I will do yoga tomorrow!
Today’s Word of the Day Is:

All those late-night snacks, delivery pizzas and cheesy breadsticks, freezer pizzas, etc. really took a toll on my body and added some additional rolls. Tonight I reflected on the fact that I have never lost weight in a healthy manner. In Middle school and high school I used to swim 10 times a week for hours and I ate minimally.
In my early twenties I lost a good amount of weight by going vegan, but I was not eating balanced meals. And my last bout of weightloss was about 3 years ago when I was mainly drinking protein shakes instead of meals and completely fasting once a week. Anyone would lose weight at that rate.
My approaches to weightloss have been very extreme in the past and this time around I want my results to last.
I would like to ask you for advice. What tips, suggestions, exercises, workouts, and programs would you recommend for me? Please comment below to share your ideas!
