Are you a sports fan? Tell us about fandom. If you’re not, tell
us why not.
I admire and respect athletes, but I am not a fan of the typical sports like football and soccer. When I lived in the Bay Area I did enjoy watching the Lakers beat the Boston Celtics, but we don’t even have a basketball team in Seattle anymore so I stopped watching basketball when I moved back from Cali.
There was a time when I really tried to be a fan of sports because I had friends who were crazy about football (or at least their bf or husbands were). I had girlfriends who would invite me to superbowl parties that they were throwing for their husbands friends. I even sat through a couple of games, but no matter how hard I tried I always got SO BORRRRRRREDDDD…
It got to the point where “sports fan” got placed at the top of my deal-breaker list along with drugs, tattoos, too many piercings, married before/divorced… Yeah, I was a little picky… I had been screwed over enough times to know that it was time to raise my standards a lot. I actually always had those standards. And I have NEVER in my life ever dated anyone under 20 or anyone who was shorter than me.
In fact, when I first started dating the love of my life I asked him if he was a sports fan. And when he said no I almost jumped for joy… but I had to keep my cool because I didn’t want it to cramp my style, but I assure you, I was jumping for joy inside. We bonded over the fact that neither of us enjoyed watching those sports and getting pumped up and rowdy like “typical guys.”

I do enjoy watching the Olympic Sports especially Swimming, Synchronized Diving, and Triathlon to name a few.
As far as participation, I have NEVER been great at team/ball sports like Basketball, Baseball, Football, Volleyball, Tennis, and Soccer. I guess I never applied myself very hard at those sports because I was so busy swimming.

Do dance, Aikido, Zumba, Mixxedfit and Capoiera count as sports? Then I’m totally a fan!

I am always down to try something new, but I am just better at some things and not so great at others.
Again, I am not hating on team sports or sports fans. Just sharing my preferences with you. Are you a sports fan? Why or why not?! Please comment below to share!!!
It takes a high degree of grit and perseverance to become an athlete.

Nice pictures! I married my first wife because she did not like onions and I jumped for joy knowing that she would not be putting any of these nasty things in her cooking.
Thank you! Isn’t it funny those little things that our significant others do or do not do that make a big difference?! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I hope you will have a wonderful week!!!
