Transform Your Life Project 2.0: #27

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

This was a productive week.  We got an early start nearly everyday and that made a great difference in our productivity.  We have also stuck with no coffee which has been a positive change. Although, I still find myself feeling low in energy, but that’s okay.

Last weekend my boyfriend built us a Far Infrared sauna and it has been a total game-changer.

This is probably the coolest sauna (hot actually) ever.  It even has a complete sound system!

The best part is that it fit right into our closet and still gives us lots of room to spare!!!

For two weeks in a row we went on lots and lots of walks.  Sometimes even 4 walks a day.  This week we didn’t go on nearly as many walks because my boyfriend is working on a technical project that involves lots of coding.  I’m totally cool with that, but I discovered that I really miss dancing…  And dancing in your bedroom just isn’t the same.

This past week I was also feeling a little down because I still miss my sister, but I am starting to adjust.  Having a little sister made it a lot easier to go out and do fun things like swim in the lake, go to the fair, and get ice cream.  I sure miss her and hope that we will be reunited soon.

My boyfriend has been keeping me in close check when it comes to healthy eating and I am thankful for that because I have been having all kinds of cravings lately.  Especially today and I think it affects my mood and my energy levels.

Yesterday I redeemed my free Bright Line Eating bootcamp.  My friend Tara lost 191 lbs with this plan in 24 weeks and was even featured in “Women’s World Magazine!”  This plan is a long term plan, but it involves giving up sugar and flour which seems like it will be challenging especially since I have been craving a lot of sugar and flour.  I guess you can say that I feel less than enthused about starting this plan in the midst of such strong cravings, but it is probably exactly what I need.  I also think that this summer is the best time to start since I am not working or taking classes.  I can really focus on it without distractions.

I started doing full-push-ups this week which feels like an accomplishment.  I have also started casually lifting weights.  This week I stopped going to physical therapy because my leg is starting to feel better and they were giving me duplicate exercises so I am going to practice what they have given me so far and learn more about healing then in the future I can go back if I need to.

I got an email and found out that I moved up in the waiting list for “Integrated Natural Science” which is the chemistry, biology, and geology program this fall.  I was number 37 and now I am number 12 so it is pretty likely that I will be able to get into the program.  I wasn’t exactly jumping for joy because this program is so challenging and demanding and I still have not made progress with my studies this summer, but that’s ok I still have time.

I must admit that I have been a little bit of a negative Nancy lately which also turns me into a Debbie Downer so I have been practicing positive affirmations each morning and I think it is helping.  I just need to keep moving forward.

Love Thyself Then Spread the Love

  • Take time for self-care.
  • Learn to be Confident.
  • Nurture your relationships.
  • Seek inspiration.
  • De-clutter.
  • Bring out the BEST in others.

I think I am doing a decent job with my goals for this month.  I am seriously itching for an adventure.  I think I need to go somewhere real soon and get lost for awhile in the beauty of it all.

How was your week and what do you do when you are craving adventure?  Comment below to share!

Love, Joy, and Blessings Always,

❤ Alana
