Once again I am feeling somewhat creatively uninspired, but I am going to write anyway!
Ever look in your closet and feel like there is nothing to wear?
There was a time when I wore tank tops, capris, and flip-flops all year round and it was wonderful, but it was also when I was coaching and working at a swimming pool.
I recently bought 2 Betsey Johnson workout tops. One in pastel pink and the other is a flourescent yellow. They are cute, but very thin and after a couple of washes in the machine they are a little too sheer… I mean, my sports bras are super cute, but I don’t want to show them off like THAT. It has gotten to the point where I can’t even wear them on a daily basis because it feels like I am not fully dressed 🙂 I guess that whole sheer “let’s show off our bras and bralettes” are fashionable right now, but I don’t think the trend really fits me.
I think it is time for me to go through my closet and de-clutter once again. I always feel better after that.
I have been craving baked bread and ice cream sandwiches. Thankfully my bf does a great job of making sure that we eat healthily. This evening he bought us each a giant salad. 6 cups worth.
The highlight of my day was going for a swim with my friend, Grace. I swam 2,200 yards in one hour and it felt so empowering. I love how swimming makes me feel powerful and strong.
Who cares what you’re wearing just remember that you’re never fully dressed without a smile 🙂
Love, Joy, and Blessings Always,
❤ Alana
