Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
My workouts have not been my priority for the first half of this year. Luckily, my priorities have been relationship, family, and school. Those are pretty important to me, but now I would like to push my workouts a little higher on my priority list. At least into the top 3.
I have been extra apprehensive about working out because I am afraid of getting re-injured. I can tell that my damn hamstring is recovering, but I still need to work on flexibility. I thought that I was going to start running this month, but I think I am going to wait a little longer so that I have more time to heal.
I love the beginning of a new month because it feels like I get to “start over.” I knew yesterday that I wanted to do a workout. I started to look into doing PIIT 28, but then I noticed that I would have to modify all the cardio moves which would still be okay, but not ideal.
So I decided to use Cassey’s Blogilates workout calendar.
Workout of the Day: Muffintop Melter
Pilates is gentle, but also good for flexibility and toning. This morning I especially felt it around my waist and especially my back. It is such a good feeling to know that I worked out.

Yesterday’s workout was challenging for me and there were a few times I just wanted to call it a night, but I continued to gently push through and it sure felt good when I finished the workout.
Last month I set a goal to blog everyday and I did it! So this month I am setting a goal to workout everyday!
