Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I was looking forward to my workout, but by the time I got ready to get started I got hit hard with a sharp headache. It wasn’t as bad as my Coffee Overdose/bathroom cleaning escapade a few months ago, but it was enough to stop me in my steps.
My boyfriend was so thoughtful and ran a bath for me then headed to the grocery store to get lemons for my water. I was super close to skipping the workout because of my headache, but I still wanted to do something so this is what I did.
Workout of the Day: Total Body Resistance Band Sculpting Workout
It was not the most challenging workout I have ever done, but I needed a gentle workout in my condition. After the workout I slipped into the spearmint/eucalyptus epsom salt bath my bf prepared for me.
It was nice and relaxing and the pressure in my head slowly started to release. Then he came back and brought me blueberries and lemons and icy lemon water and a soda. I was touched by his thoughtfulness!
Remember to always listen to your body. If you are not feeling well you might need to rest and that is just fine. If you are able to do anything at all then do just that, but don’t push yourself too far. Also, blueberries and icy lemon water is really comforting.
