Workout and Word of the Day: #35

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

Today I turned 29!  I think I spent this entire week in “Quarter-life-crisis mode.”  A big part of me wishes that I was more accomplished than I am or that I would have my life more pulled together by now.  That comparison game really is a killer and I have noticed that it has been robbing me of joy so I am going to let go of those damaging tendencies and replace them with healthier habits.

I get 24 hours in a day like everyone else and I want to make my time and talents count!  I also know that it is more important than ever for me to continue these “Workout and Word of the Day” segments.  My life has improved tremendously in this past month and I really appreciate how supportive you have been!  Consistency is Magical!

Workout of the Day:  Total Body Swiss Ball

This workout is full of variety and wonderful music.  There were many unique and challenging moves that I haven’t done before.  I am going to add this one to my regular arsenal!

I decided that I would only do one workout today.  Since I am working out every single day for 31 days I want to make sure that I don’t overdo it.

Word of the Day:

funster- noun

  1. A person who creates or seeks fun, as a comedian or a reveler.

Is that a fun word or what?!?!

      Wow, you are so inspiring! I hope that I can work towards being as healthy, fit, and active as you are in years to come. I hope you will have a wonderful week! I love Zumba! And I want to start boxing / kickboxing. I used to be intimidated by lifting weights, but am starting to realize the benefits 🙂

      1. Tomorrow I will be at one gym for an hour and a half, and then down to my trainer for 30 minutes of boxing. Can’t wait. Even though the roads were flooding today, I still got to do Zumba.

        I hope you had a great workout today! Wow! An hour and a half followed by boxing?! That’s quite the workout! I absolutely love zumba and dance workouts because they hardly feel like work.
        Flooding? Travel safely!
        Yesterday I was feeling tired so I did total body pilates. Today I will try and pick up the intensity again!

      3. 3 rounds of boxing each with a minute of squats straight after. Then onto being in the squat position and moving to each end of the gym 10 times. Finally one foot on the upside down Bosu, and the other one on a medicine ball, doing 12 squats
