Workout and Word of the Day: #36

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I am excited because I ran a mile for the first time since my injury back in June.  I am going start out really slowly even if I feel capable of doing more because I don’t want to re-injure myself.

I do have to say that working with a good physical therapist and making it a point to do my homework has payed off.  Not so long ago, I could barely walk and I was worried that I would lose mobility, but now my hope and movement has been restored!

I didn’t feel like working out because it was my birthday, but I also wanted to keep my commitment to work out 31 days in a row so I decided to do what I always do in these instances…  I pulled on my pink tights and leotard and decided to practice ballet!  You can do it too!  I felt so happy and uplifted after my workout!

Workout of the Day: 1 mile run + Ballet ❤

Centre practice is excellent for improving your balance.  Give it a try!

I really enjoyed this back workout and could feel the burn!

Word of the Day:

ruth- noun

  1. Pity or compassion.
  2. Sorry or grief.
  3. Self-reproach; contrition;remorse.

I never knew the name Ruth had these definitions behind it.  I guess it is better to be Ruth than Ruthless 😉
