Workout and Word of the Day: #42

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I can definitely say that working out 31 days in a row was a worthwhile endeavor!!!  Some days I felt super energetic and on point and on other days I could barely muster up the energy necessary to move…  No matter how I felt, I still made it a point to fit in a workout and I am so glad that I did!

More than anything else, I think it strengthened my willpower and gave me a good boost of confidence and we can all use that!!!

This week my energy has finally started to return.  I am slowly cleaning up my nutrition again after about 2 weeks of living in “celebration mode.”  I have learned that nutrition makes all the difference in whether or not we have enough energy.

This month I have decided to focus more on pilates and yoga-based workouts.  Last month I did dumbell workouts more than anything else and it was empowering.  I am not going to abandon resistance training completely, but I want to shift my focus because I am trying to tame my anxiety in a more natural manner.  I have noticed that in my day-to-day life and casual interactions I start sweating and getting nervous and I don’t know exactly what is causing it.  I don’t want to take any medicine if possible and I want to try as many safe and natural remedies as I can.  Hopefully by the time school starts at the end of this month, I will have my anxiety under control!

Workout of the Day: PILATES + ARMS!!!

I felt so accomplished in completing this Winsor Pilates Advanced Workout!!!  I remember trying this workout more than a decade ago.  I was in great shape from swimming sometimes 10 times a week, but even then, this workout kicked my butt!  Last night it was challenging, but I did it!  You can do it too!!!  They use a resistance band, but you can still do the exercises even if you don’t have one.

I decided to see what is going on in blogilates world and I am glad that I did!  This Quick and Crazy Cardio Workout would have killed me a month ago, but after doing lots of hiit workouts it didn’t feel so daunting and it was done before I knew it!!!

Heck yes I want toned arms and sexxy shoulders!!!

This workout felt long compared to the other pilates workouts I did, but it was so empowering to stick with it!

Weightless Arm Workout because you don’t need weights for your workout to be Great!!!

Word of the Day:

fais-dodo- noun

  1. Louisiana.  A country dance party.

Is that a fun word or what?!?!  On top of all the other good things that happened during this workout, my bf stepped in towards the end and said that he sees a tremendous difference and improvement in my body.  That is always encouraging because we cannot always see the progress we are making on a day-to-day basis, but know that your consistency is paying off as we speak.  

NEVER Give up!!!
