Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I have struggled with my weight for over a decade and probably most of my life. It has been a battle because my health directly affects my state of mind which affects my confidence and my confidence has taken a major hit. When my confidence is low my anxiety and depression goes up and it makes it hard to function.
I wish I could be one of those people who could love and accept themselves at any size and state. That is my goal, but I am not there yet.
In the meantime, I have been working hard on creating healthier habits for myself. In August I successfully worked out everyday and I blogged about it which helped me accomplish two goals in one!!!
- Blogging Everyday!
- Working out everyday.
This has been a win for me because I know that I am capable of making a commitment then sticking with it and following through! I want to thank all of you for being so supportive and joining me for my workout and word of the day!!!
Workout of the Day: TOTAL BODY STRENGTH + PILATES + YIN YOGA
Animal Warm-up!!! I enjoyed how sexxy and sassy this dance was!!!
Since I am trying to lose weight, I am going to do more workouts that target the whole body and utilize compound movements! This workout is fun because we never do the same exercise twice!!!
Pilates Sexy Arms and Back: “We’re bringin’ sexxy back!!!”
I used two pound weights for this workout and at the very beginning it felt like it would be too easy, but it rapidly increased in difficulty 🙂
Basic Pilates Mat Workout: I am going to do at least one pilates mat workout a day!
At the end of a long day nothing helps me relax like a good Yin Yoga routine ❤
