Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I felt really strong and motivated throughout today’s workout and it was a great feeling. I think it was the first time that I actually sought out a low-impact cardio workout. I read that it is a good way to burn fat and mix things up. This particular workout was comprised of intervals and I noticed that since the moves were low-impact, I was able to push myself even harder.
Workout of the Day: Straight Up Strength Training + Low Impact Cardio
I always get a great workout with Jessica Smith and I really enjoyed her tribal playlist throughout the workout. Grab two pairs of dumbells or soup cans and get ready to WORK!!!
This Low-Impact Cardio workout was great there were some moves that I chose to modify to step up the intensity like jump squats and full jumping jacks. This workout is excellent if you want to avoid movements that are jarring. I was still able to work up a sweat!!!
Word of the Day:

We do a lot of these moves in the Zumba classes. Yesterday 1 hour Zumba, 30 minutes boxing with my trainer, and 1 and a half hours of dancing. Burned almost 500 calories.
Hi Susie!
I hope you had a good week! I noticed in your last comment that you mentioned the evacuation. Were you impacted by the hurricane? I am glad you are okay.
Zumba is one of my favorite workouts ever! I just started doing some at-home kickboxing workouts because I was inspired by you. Great job on your workouts!!!
❤ Alana
Hurricane Irma came just to the east of us. I wrote several articles about it. You are the good and bad in people.
