Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
Today feels like a good day for a cardio workout. I have decided that Thursdays will be my planned rest day in the future because it is going to be the busiest day of the week at school. All-day lab day!
I also finally made a decision about my college curriculum for fall quarter. I had a couple of options:
- I was registered to take an evening General Chemistry class, sign language, and dance.
- I was on the waiting list for “Integrated Natural Science” which covers chemistry and lab, biology and lab, and geology. I have been worried that I am not prepared for a science program that is this strenuous especially since I haven’t done a lot of Algebra II since high school.
- “Playing with Patterns” which would cover introductory algebra, pre-calculus, and introductory physics. This seems a little more on my level since I don’t feel super confident with math and science, but it is more of a class that would prepare me to take the strenuous INS program.
I was mulling over my options yesterday and super stressed when all of a sudden I got an email that said I am registered for INS. I emailed the “Playing with Patterns” professor to find out if I could still take her program and she said yes.
Today I finally decided that I am going to take the leap and do the INS program. It feels like it will be a stretch, but I think it is the push that I need. I am worried that my anxiety will get the best of me and I am going to sweat a lot in class, but I will just wear breathable clothes 🙂

Workout of the Day: Kickboxing + Cardio + Yoga
This is a really good warm-up that uses lots of dynamic stretching:
Aerobic Kickboxing for Weightloss: I think that my stamina has improved because I was not as winded as I thought I would be!
Latin Aerobic Dance Workout: This workout was a blast and reminded me of my Samba class!

I am going to make a commitment and promise to you right here and now. No matter how hectic life gets and how crazy busy I am; I promise that I will continue to make my health and fitness a priority!
I believe that is one of my biggest concerns is that life will get hectic and I will fall back into my pattern of slacking. This fall is going to be different!!!
