Workout and Word of the Day: #69

Today I actually looked forward to working out which was a nice contrast from my usual dread.  I think that starting with movement and dance gives me something to look forward to.  I even danced in my leotard, tights, and ballet slippers and the best part is that I can practice right here at home.

Workout of the Day: Ballet + Barre + Centre Work + Pilates

The ballet videos on this channel are a little short, but they work well as a warm-up:

I really enjoyed this Ballet Barre for Abs workout.  Grab a chair you are going to like this one:

Centre classes are nice because it feels like you are actually dancing and there are a lot of little exercises that improve balance.

Pilates:  This was challenging for me because I need to improve my core strength.

Word of the Day:

anachronism- noun

  1. an error in chronology; especially: a chronological misplacing of persons, events, objects, or customs in regard to each other.
  2. a person or thing that is chronologically out of place; especially: one from a former age that is incongruous in the present.
  3. the state or condition of being chronologically out of place.

And just like that it is already December!  Where did this entire year go and where have I been?!?!  I want December to be a more active month for me.  I am going to do something everyday to keep myself moving.

Love, Joy, and Blessings Always,

    1. Patience is a beautiful goal and I would like to join you in practicing patience this month and beyond. I think a lot of my stress comes from being impatient. I hope December will be a wonderful month for you!
