Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I hope you are having a wonderful 1st week of the year! Today I completed Day 30 of my 30 Days of Yoga with Adriene practice!!! I am thrilled because this is the most consistent I have ever been with my yoga practice. To be honest, I can’t think of a time that I did yoga more than twice a week.
Look at me now! Embracing a daily yoga practice day in and day out regardless of the way that I feel and the best part is that I always feel better after practicing! Another added benefit is that I have also practiced meditation everyday for over a month. This is a big accomplishment for me because historically it has been next to impossible for me to sit still for more than 2 minutes 🙂
Today’s Workout is: Yoga + Abs + Run
Boost Your Metabolism in just 20 Minutes: This workout was a total body toner and it made me work up a sweat FAST!!!
Tone It Up Yoga + Abs: I really enjoyed the ab moves today. These would have been a struggle not so long ago, but the yoga is paying off!!!
- Down Dog Tummy Toner (15 each side)
- 15 Starfish Crunches
- Cross Mountain Climbers (15 each side)
- Bicycles (15 each side)
- 15 Reverse Crunches
*Complete this circuit 3 times!!!
After that circuit I went for a 30 minute run on the treadmill and felt great!
The Best Detox Yoga Workout: Tone It Up!

Today I felt very empowered by my yoga practice, but I also decided to take my measurements and it was a little discouraging because I have expanded in many places compared to last year’s measurements. I had to remind myself that I didn’t get here overnight and my results won’t happen overnight either. I am just going to keep going because consistency and persistence will help me to transform!
So if you have recently weighed or measured yourself and did not like the results, don’t be discouraged. This is only temporary and we are working towards becoming our BEST selves!!! WE GOT THIS!!!

Love this! I did both a run and yoga today too! I did the same yesterday, my muscles are a little sore now that I’ve been sitting on the couch for a few hours, I’ll have to work it out tomorrow! Keep it up, you are an inspiration!
Great job on your workouts!!! I was also sore today in new places like my lower back and hip creases. I just got back from a walk and that really helped me feel a lot better. It is amazing how movement can be so therapeutic 🙂 Thank you for your kind words! You inspire me too!
