Workout and Word of the Day: #13

Happy Friday Everyone!

This feels like it has been a productive week for me!  I have managed to stick with my nutrition plan & workout everyday so far.  It really does wonders for my confidence and overall productivity.  How was your week?

Workout of the Day: Buti Yoga + Abs + Booty

I started my day with Buti Yoga Tone #83.  It was over an hour long and kicked my butt!  I felt a huge sparkle of satisfaction once it was done!

15 Minute Shredded Abs: This was a killer ab workout with lots of variety.  I can tell that I am getting stronger because planks are feeling a Little less torturous!

FB No Equipment Butt and Thigh Workouts: I love this bodyweight workout!  I could especially feel the burn during the pilates half.

Word of the Day:

debian-

  1. A popular and freely-available computer operating system that uses the Linux kernel and other components obtained from the GNU project.

I chose debian as today’s word of the day because I am reading the “Debian Handbook” for school.  I have spent the past two weeks focusing on my nutrition and workouts and now it is time to get serious about school!

I am committing to coding everyday for at least 20 minutes (ideally much longer), learning how to use Linux, and reading my “Arduino Workshop.”

    Out of interest, how do you/how are you organising your workouts in terms of a week?

    1. Hello Hoi Yin Li!
      Yes, I really enjoy Chloe’s workouts! My workout schedule varies a little from week to week, but I like to do a Booty day, Upper Body, Leg Day, Abs, Total Body, and rest. Lately I have been taking a few extra rest days because I am following a very specific nutrition plan for weightloss.
      How about you? Do you have a specific routine or plan you like to follow?

      1. To be honest, I’ve been off it for months now so I really need to get back into it. But when I did organise it before, I would do Total Body, Arms and Abs (together), Booty and Legs (together) so a total of 3 workouts a week to start me off.

        I like to follow Cassey now and again (Blogilates) and have purchased her PIIT program – I like them but didn’t follow through day to day. I also like to use Fitness Blender for HIIT workouts. I just need to re-organise everything and just do it!

      2. Hey Girl! I like how you combine body parts for your workout. I might have to try those combinations. I have noticed that the winter months are a tricky time to stay motivated and active. I think the shorter days make me want to hibernate.

        I love Cassey’s workouts too. I also purchased the PIIT program and never followed through with the whole thing. I will let you know the next time I reattempt the piit program 😉

        You have great taste in home workouts! Fitness Blender is awesome. I love their variety. Have you tried workouts from the HASfit youtube channel? They are a couple who offer free workouts. I like how positive they are 🙂
        Getting back into a workout groove can be challenging, but the fact that you’re thinking about it is awesome! You got this just take it a day at a time. I am cheering you on!!!
