Ever feel like you want to do everything AND nothing at the same time? That’s how I feel right now so I decided it was a good time to write this post!
Today was a rest day, but I still wanted to do something and this is what I did!
Rest Day Workout: Buti Yoga + Pilates with a Stability Ball + Foam Roller Routine + Restorative Yoga
I still want to make it a point to practice Yoga Every Damn day so I did Buti Yoga Tone #84
Pilates with a Stability Ball: I was actually surprised by how challenging this workout was. I really enjoyed it!
15 Minute Foam Roller Routine: This was the first time that I have ever done a dedicated foam roller routine and I highly recommend it. It was painful in some places, but felt like a full body massage!
Restorative Yoga Without Props: I liked the fact that this routine had no props. It was good for the soul.

Thanks for joining me for a relaxing rest day. How are you doing with your fitness goals? I am thankful for the progress that I have made. This is the first time in my life that I have truly made my health a priority. I am following a plan called “Brightline Eating” and it has been so empowering for me.
I have a little dilemma. One of the big recommendations is that I stop working out during the weightloss phase and focus on my nutrition. I am afraid to do it. One of the program leaders said that people who give up exercise temporarily during this phase actually got better results than the people who continued to workout hard. What would you do? I want to get those great results, but it is also challenging to let go. I think that I will stop doing hard resistance training and high intensity cardio like running and maybe even hiit, but I am going to continue movement in the form or pilates, yoga, and dance.
