I finally joined a local gym and I decided to start my week off right with leg day!!! Before I headed to the new gym I practiced Buti yoga in the comfort of my own home and that helped me to feel more comfortable and confident in my own skin.
Workout of the Day: LEG DAY!!!
*Complete this circuit 3 times!!!
- 20 Dumbbell Squats
- 20 Reverse Lunges
- 20 Deadlifts
- 20 Sumo Squats
- 20 Side Lunges (each side)
- 20 Deadlifts + calf raises
After strength training I did the Stepmill for 30 minutes at level 5 and it kicked my butt!!!
Today’s Word of the Day is:
fungible- adjective
- Being of such a nature that one part or quantity may be replaced by another equal part or quantity in the satisfaction of obligation.
- Interchangeable.
- Flexible.
My 1st day at the new gym was honestly terrifying. I felt so far out of my element and had to go in with my blinders on. Halfway through my workout a girl came up behind me and accidentally knocked me over while I had weights in my hands. I screamed and am was so worried that I might have gotten injured because my knee bruised and swelled. After my cardio the girl came and found me in the locker room. She apologized and said that she was on her phone and clueless and then she introduced herself. It made me feel better.
It was a rocky start, but I am going to keep going back to the gym. What is your most embarrassing gym-related story? Please comment below to share!

Well you are done with the first day, so now you can rest easy and let it be your stomping grounds, girl 🙂 Plus, now you have a familiar face, albeit someone who knocked you over. I hope the knee feels better soonest. xx
Thank you! I went to the gym 4 times this week and that was the only time I tripped 😉 although, on wednesday I had a little anxiety attack in my car in the parking lot and almost didn’t go in. At that point I txted my friend then went in and I am glad I did! I hope my nerves will calm down soon 🙂
