Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
This week felt productive and I also feel oddly caught up with my homework even though I still have a lot of reading to do before class on Tuesday. I am just going to go with the flow because worrying too much just adds unnecessary stress.
So far I have missed 1 day this entire quarter and that is a record for me. We are already about to start week #7/10. It may not be perfect attendance, but I will certainly take it especially considering the fact that fall is usually the toughest quarter for me health-wise. I think this is another sign of progress!
I am very proud of my health and fitness habits! I just completed my 2nd week of intermittent fasting and my first complete week of Keto and I feel great! I started drinking one cup of coffee in the morning. I know that some people would argue that this breaks my fast, but I am going with it. I gave up coffee for an entire month and tried to drink green tea in its place, but I still felt really dazed. I also think it negatively affected my sleep patterns because I would drink a cup in the afternoon to get through the day and then I would not be able to sleep. Sometimes I would toss and turn until after 2 am. This week I was able to sleep at night and it was nice 🙂
I made a few adjustments to my workout schedule. I used to workout first thing in the morning before class, but this week I decided that it is not really practical with my new eating schedule. I eat between 1 pm and 8 pm so if I were to workout until 9:30 am that would be a super long stretch to my first meal. I might start adding in fasted cardio in the morning if I feel super energetic, but not lifting weights. I noticed that I have more energy on this way of eating so I started doing workouts at the end of the day. This week I did 5 strength training workouts for the first time! I usually do 3-4!!! It feel so good to challenge myself and hold myself accountable!
This Halloween was my very 1st sugar free Halloween! I did not have any candy, sugar, or munchies. I did want some, but I nibbled on cacao nibs and macadamia nuts instead and it did the trick. I also played around with pork rinds a little, but I am not going to make that a regular thing because I want to eat less processed foods.
I got to dress up several times this week! These were my costumes:

On Halloween morning I ran through the woods with my Friend Diana and her 4 dogs around 8 am. Then I borrowed her jacket to wear over my costume. I was excited to see that I am growing stronger!

Here are my goals for November in addition to the intention I set for myself to See The Good.

Super cool
Thanks a bunch ❤
an 80s party sounds like so much fun! cool that you were able to pull together a few different costumes 👻
We really had a blast! I definitely have goodwill to thank for the costumes. I got both of them for under $20 and then the 3rd dress I got for my birthday 4 years ago 🙂
that’s amazing, love that!
