Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
It’s that time of year when I start thinking about my projects for the new year! Can you believe that the year 2019 is swiftly approaching?!?! Next week we will celebrate Christmas and the following week we will ring in the New Year!
Through the years I have done a handful of different projects. My first few were “Happiness Projects.” I was inspired by a colorful paperback book with blue skies and yellow buildings called “The Happiness Project” by Gretchin Rubin. I started strongly, but noticed that it was challenging to continue without my own computer.
I did a few Happiness Projects and soon realized that I needed to transform my life. There were a lot of health-related / weight-loss goals and also academic goals that I wanted to work on. At that point in my life transforming became even more important than focusing on happiness because I realized that developing healthier habits would help me to feel happier overall. I try to do each project at least twice. This year I wanted to love and accept myself more so I created the “Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project.” I got off track a couple of times this year especially in the past month, but it is almost complete.
Below are the guidelines for the projects I have done in the past. Take a look and tell me what you think!
I know that I want to continue to work on my weigh loss goals and healthy lifestyle in addition to my academic and career goals.
Please comment below to share! Also, let me know if you would like to join me on a project for 2019! We can cheer each other on!!!
