Happy New Year’s Eve!
We have made it to the final week and final day of 2018! This was a memorable year for me. I completed one of my favorite college quarters a year ago. I started out building a 3D printed robotic cat toy that I could control from an app on my phone, but completed this project way ahead of schedule and build a geodesic dome with 3D printed connectors and a ventilation system using a raspberry pi. My very first dome sold within an hour of its completion!
We sold our 1st house then went on an epic road trip across the country with 2 cars, 2 cats, and my sister. It was an amazing experience that I will always remember. We initially went to Florida, but only stayed a few days before heading north to Maine. Once in Maine we continued to run the businesses, but also got jobs. I worked for a cryospa as a cryotherapy technician.
It was in Maine that I started to really take my weightloss journey seriously. It helped that I was surrounded by ambitious, fit people. My co-worker and friend Nichole was also so supportive of me and my healthy lifestyle. I also faced my fear of turning 30. It helped that Nichole is also over 30. I realized that these could be the best times of my life!
We bought our 2nd house in cash and I decided to come home to the Pacific Northwest to do a final quarter of on campus classes. I continued to eat healthy meals and take my weightloss journey seriously. The past 3 months have been the most enjoyable months I have had in a long time. I got to reconnect with my family and friends and make new friends. I also started dancing again! I feel like I really had a chance to be independent and come into my own.
The 2nd half of this month has been extremely emotional and I have honestly been depressed. I made the decision last week that it is time for a change!
