Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

The new year is here and it is time for me to continue my tradition of doing a year-long project!  Through the years I have done a series of projects which include:

These projects have helped me with goal setting and staying accountable throughout the year.  I set goals and / or an area of focus for every month and each week I talk about my victories, challenges, and lessons I have learned.

There have been some years that I have been more successful than others and even a few years where I fell completely off track.  There is something invigorating and empowering about getting back on track and trying again!

2018 felt like the year when I really had a chance to come into my own and embrace adulthood without feeling too afraid.  I wanted to learn how to love myself and know myself.  One of the biggest wins I had last year was my success in weight-loss.  Being overweight is something I have struggled with for over a decade and last year was the first year that I took a different approach and it has paid off.  I learned how to focus more on progress rather than perfection.

My theme for 2019 is: “Building Confidence”

I can tell that I am in a much healthier space than I was a year ago, but I am still a work in progress.  I still struggle with worries, doubts, lack of confidence, and my crazy little insecurities.  This year I am going to actively stay focused on my goals rather than worrying about everything that could go wrong.  I know that this will be challenging for me because I have a tendency to get hung up on my worries and feel overwhelmed.  I am ready to conquer my fears and come out stronger and more confident than ever.  There are those big goals that have always been on my heart, but I was never able to fully commit to and this is the year that I want to tackle some of those goals and dreams!

THIS YEAR I WILL DO A “Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0”

I really enjoyed the format of the “Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project and I would like to try again with a few improvements.  I hope that you will join me!
