Workout and Word of the Day #5

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I worked out 4 days in a row and then I took 4 days off.  This was not part of my plan it just happened this way.  I have been going through lots of transitions like moving and adjusting to another place and it has taken a bit of a toll on me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

Today I decided that it was time to get moving again!  After my morning coffee I did 100 push-ups in 4 sets of 25.

Today’s Workout of the Day: Total Body Dumbbell Workout

I warmed up with 5 minutes of walking on the treadmill then did some quick hiit intervals.  1 min. sprint + 1 min. ez 5 times.

  • 3 x 15 Overhead Squat
  • 3 x 12 Squat and press
  • 3 x 15 Chest Flies
  • 3 x 12 Close-grip Press
  • 3 x 15 Upright Rows
  • 3 x 12 Dumbbell Rows
  • 3 x 15 Hammer Curls
  • 3 x 12 Tricep Curls
  • 3 x 15 Goblet Squats
  • 3 x 12 Plie Squats
  • 3 x 15 RDL
  • 3 x 20 Donkey Kicks

Word of the Day:

syllogism– noun

  1. A deductive scheme of a formal argument consisting of a major and a minor premise and a conclusion.
  2. A subtle, specious, or crafty argument.
  3. Deductive reasoning.

      1. Wow! Great job. I want to try a Zumba toning workout. I just moved so it will be nice to find a place to do zumba again. 16,000 steps?! That is impressive!
