Hello My Friends!
Today I had no phone and no internet until after 6 pm. I cannot remember the last time that happened. I have always at least had one or the other and when you have one you can pretty easily get the other.
It ended up being a nice break from social media and the outside world. When it came time to hit the gym I was super thankful that I still had my Spotify premium account activated. I was able to listen to my music while I did my workout.
Yesterday, I started taking whey protein before my workout and I think it is helping me a lot energy wise. For the past several months, I have been working out in a fasted state and I know that is not the best approach if I want to build muscle.
Workout of the Day: Whole Body + Cardio & Hiit
Complete 2 x 20 of each exercise
- Reverse Lunge
- Butt Lift
- Calf Raise
- Bent-over row
- Karate Curl
- Leg Lift
- Ball small situp
Today I really focused on activating the muscles I was working on rather than just going through the motion. I think that it has been a lot more effective than what I used to do. I know that I have been guilty of going through the motions just to get it done and it feels good to know that I am focusing on proper form.

I have been enjoying my workouts a lot lately especially these past two days. I am also happy about the fact that not having coffee has not negatively affected my performance. I think the next step is going to be to dial in my nutrition again.
