Workout and Word of the Day #12

Hello My Friends!

How is your year so far?  It is hard to believe that a new month is starting in less than a week!  I hope you are making good progress with your healthy habits.  Each new day is another opportunity!

Workout of the Day: Total Body + Incline walk on the Treadmill

5 Exercises x 5 repetitions x 5 times

  1. Dumbell Deadlift
  2. Dumbbell Squat
  3. Hip Thrusts
  4. Dips
  5. Back Bends

After my strength training workout, I walked on the treadmill for 30 minutes alternating between 1% and 4% incline.  I noticed that if I go above 6%; my feet start to hurt.

Word of the Day:

doldrums– noun

  1. A spell of listlessness or despondency.
  2. A state or period of inactivity, stagnation, or slump.

I like my new workout format.  5 x 5 x 5 is going to give me a chance to left heavier weights while making sure that I hold proper form the entire time.
