I am happy with my workout habit so far. In fact, my workout habit has helped me to be happier in general. I think the two are directly related and compliment each other so well. So the next time you are feeling down, take some time to move your body. It does not have to be a full-blown workout at the gym. Turn on some music and groove a little. Or go for a quick walk. Just do something to get moving! You Are Worth-It!!!
Workout of the Day: Chest/Back/Biceps
5 Exercises x 5 sets x 5 times
- Foot-elevated Single-leg Glute Bridge
- Chest Press
- Single-arm dumbbell row (on all 4’s)
- Cross-body single-arm wide row
- Bicep curls
Word of the Day:
- To glide, move, or proceed easily or nonchalantly.
- To Chasse in dancing.
I decided to try just doing the weightlifting and not following it with the cardio just to see how I felt. I have to say that I missed the endorphin boost that I get from cardio along with listening to uplifting music. I also want to lose some of the extra curviness around my waist so I am going to go right back to doing cardio after weightlifting.
I know that I posted to “Workout and Word of the Day” posts back to back. I was falling behind and had to get caught up. In fact, I am getting ready to do another workout right now!
