Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
We are halfway through the week! How is your week going? I decided to take a rest day on Monday. I was feeling out of sorts, anxious, and overwhelmed and I think it was a good choice. I might not make it my regular rest day in the future though. There is something special about starting the week with a good strong workout!
I have shifted and am focusing more on movement patterns versus training specific body parts.
Workout of the Day: PUSH – Chest/Shoulders/ Triceps
*Complete each exercises 5 x 5
- Dumbbell Chest Press
- Military Press
- Lateral Side Raise
- Tricep extension
*Complete each exercises 12 times!
- half roll back
- full-body roll ups
- pilates 100
- bird dog
- double leg stretch
- glute bridge
After my workout, I went on the elliptical for 30 minutes. I think that I am going to spend less time on the elliptical. I get a good workout, but I think I am locking my knees at some weird interval or something. Something just feels a little unnatural about this movement in my body. Listen to your body. We are all different and something that works well for someone else may not work as well for you. I am not going to give it up completely. I will just back off a little.

I noticed that before I headed into the gym, I got a little nervous, but I think it was just because I spent some time away. Once I got warmed up I felt great!
