Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
It is Friday! I feel like this week flew by! How was your week? Did anything exciting happen? My week has been full of the good and the sad. My cats got delivered to me at the beginning of the week and it has been such a joy to have them home again! I also have transportation which is nice because I have been on fit since mid-December. It felt like I hit another milestone with getting the cats all the way from Maine to Arizona and also having transportation!
Now the sad, you probably read yesterday that my Dad is in ICU and has to have a triple bypass surgery. I called him this morning and it was nice to talk with him. He was sitting in dialysis as we talked and said that his surgery will take place tomorrow. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
Workout of the Day: Leg / Gait Day
- Bodyweight Single-Let Glute Bridge 3 x 20
- Bodyweight Walking Lunge 3 x 20
- Reverse Hyper 3 x 20
- Side Lying Abduction 1 x 30 both sides
I got gutsy and decided to do my lunges outside along the pool and it was so nice. I was anxious about it because a lot of people could probably see me, but I am glad I did it. The fresh air and the open space made it worth-it!

- The highest or best part of something: peak

I am thankful for such an uplifting word to kick off this weekend! Some words roll off of your tongue and feel so inspiring… Actually, let me rephrase that, some words may sound somewhat ordinary or strange, but I appreciate those definitions that end up inspiring me.
Do you have plans for your weekend? I want to spend some time exploring now that I have a vehicle! This is not related, but I am so thankful that my wrist is feeling a lot better than it was yesterday. Icing, TLC, awareness, and rest sure make a big difference!
Have a wonderful weekend!
