Workout and Word of the Day #26

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I used to dread my workouts and now they have become the highlight of my day!  I am happy because this is the most consistent that I have ever been especially with resistance training.

I was pretty consistent with general exercise from September through the beginning of December, but my workouts mainly consisted of Zumba, Commit, and Dance Fitness classes which are my favorite.  It is so much easier to do the things that you enjoy the most, but living in a new place has given me the space to try new things and pursue those interests that I used to be afraid to try.

There is something refreshing about being in a place where nobody knows your name.

Workout of the Day: Push + Core

*Complete 5 x 5 of each exercise

  • Dips
  • Dumbbell Chest Press
  • Lateral / Front Raises
  • Military Press
  • Swiss Ball Tricep Extension

Core:

  • 12 Single leg weighted crunches
  • 2 x 15 Weighted tuck-ins
  • 3 x 12 V-ups
  • 4 x 8 corkscrews

Word of the Day:

  1. To give expression to emotion

Thanks for joining me for another workout and word of the day.  This is my 3rd week of my current workout cycle.  After next week I am going to switch things up!
