Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I could tell it was Thursday when I woke up this morning by my lack of enthusiasm, but I still got going and I was looking forward to today’s workout! For the past 4 weeks, Thursdays have been my pull day which is the most challenging for me. I am switching it up and have turned it into a shoulders and triceps day.
Today’s Workout: Shoulders & Triceps
- Seated Dumbbell Press 3 x 20
- Seated Arnold Press 3 x 20
- DB Front Raise 3 x 20
- DB Lateral Raise 3 x 20
- Tricep Kickbacks 3 x 15
- Seated French Press 15/ 14/ 10
- Single-Arm Tricep Extension 3 x 8
- Tricep Bench Dips 3 x 25
- Single Leg Drop 3 x 20
- Bicycle Twists 3 x 20
*30 seconds of active cardio between every set. I did jumping jacks, jump squats and walked around *
I warmed up with 20 minutes on the elliptical and I also did 20 more minutes on the elliptical after the workout. I am trying to include more cardio so that I can burn more fat. I really do miss dancing and will have to find some classes soon. I have done some home workouts, but it just is not the same!

heiligenschein– noun (German)
- A ring of light around the shadow cast by a person’s head, especially on a dewy, sunlit lawn, caused by reflection and diffraction of light ray’s; halo.
I love how poetic the definition to this word is. I feel like I can imagine seeing my favorite person on a grassy knoll standing in the sunlight. I love words like this.
