Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I definitely struggled with motivation this morning. I woke up early to register for spring quarter and just wanted to go back to sleep. I did sneak in a half hour nap and did not feel like working out so I made myself a cup of coffee. After that I thankfully felt a little more motivated.
Your mind has a funny way of playing tricks on you. Sometimes it tells you that you should rest an extra day. And honestly sometimes that is okay especially if you are injured or your soul is tired. That was not my reasoning behind wanting to skip this morning. I think it was just a combination of laziness and being stuck in my head throughout the weekend. I also knew that movement is a wonderful antidote to laziness and lack of motivation.
Today’s Workout: Legs + Hourglass Workout
- DB Hip Thrust 3 x 12
- DB Front Squat 3 x 12
- DB Romanian Deadlift 3 x 12
- Banded Seat Abduction 1 x 30
Hourglass Workout: I am trying to do this one 3 times a week!
*Complete this circuit 3 times!
- Side Plank Lift 15
- Plank w/ hip drop 15
- Twisting V-ups 15
- Side Plank with Leg Lift 10
- Plank w/ Leg Side Kick
I may have scrapes and bruises on my elbows from all that planking, but I can tell that I am getting stronger each time!
