Workout and Word of the Day #36

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

Today I had a little more motivation than I had yesterday and it was nice!  I decided to have a cup of coffee to put some pep in my step too.  I have been thinking of trying a pre-workout.  Do you use a pre-workout?  If so, what do you recommend?  Comment below to share please!

Chest & Biceps:

  1. Standard Push-ups 3 x 15
  2. Reptile Push-ups 3 x 10 each side
  3. Dumbbell Bench Press 3 x 20
  4. Dumbbell Flys 3 x 20
  5. Hammer Curls 3 x 20
  6. Standing DB Curls 3 x 20
  7. Single Arm Bicep Curls 3 x 15
  8. 21’s Bicep Curls -7 bottom to half / 7 half to top/ 7 full curls

Once I got through the push-ups, I did 30 seconds of active rest between every set.  My selection was a mix of jumping jacks and plie squats.  I started to do jump squats, but I just did not have that level of energy in me today.

I felt strong throughout my push-ups which was so nice, but those reptile push-ups still killed me.  Luckily, I stayed strong and got through it!  I am glad that I start this workout with the most challenging exercises.  Leave it to bodyweight to challenge me the most 😉


Word of the Day:

  1. Accuse; denounce
  2. Report; relate.

Thanks for joining me for another workout and word of the day!  I have grown to look forward to my workouts.  Now I just need to figure out those spaces in between the workouts.
