Are there things you know you should do, but when it comes down to it you really don’t feel like doing them?
This happens to me on a daily basis…
I know I should do yoga, but I haven’t been getting around to doing it.
I could get ahead with my tutorials and spend more time studying, but I would rather procrastinate and check my insta…
I should eat more veggies, but I don’t feel like cleaning the kitchen.
I should do that hourglass workout because summer is near, but I just don’t feel like it…
These feelings were especially strong today. It is leg day and I wrote out my workout followed by that hourglass workout. It is a wonderful workout that consists of many elbow planks. In fact so many elbow planks that my elbows were getting beat up. I think I only did this workout once last week to give my elbows a break, but I planned on bringing back the hourglass today.
I finished a killer leg workout, but when it came down to the infamous hourglass I almost chose cardio instead.
Luckily, I decided to hold myself accountable. I started going through the motions and turned on some good music. I felt a little tired after the first round, but decided to keep going until I finished all 3 rounds!
So the next time you feel like shying away from one of those beneficial shoulds or coulds; start going through the motions and turn on some good music! You will be done before you know it and will love that sense of accomplishment!
