Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0 Week #13

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I am astonished by how different each week feels and that is a good thing.  Before I write my weekly posts, I review last week’s post then reflect on how things have changed.  Last week’s post already feels like forever ago and it was just last week.

This week was spring break, but I had to do some work to wrap up my internship and prepare for a new one.  I was very stressed about it and was thankfully able to pull everything together right on time!

I just completed week #8 of my 12 week workout cycle and will be excited to learn new exercises this week.  I really enjoyed weeks 5-8.  This is the furthest that I have gotten with a weightlifting program.  It feels so good to stick with it and be consistent!

The house in Maine is officially on the market.  For awhile I felt bittersweet about this because we owned the house in cash (which is rare) and it was a beautifully charming little dollhouse.  The honest truth is that I do not see myself going back to Maine long term.  The winters are too cold for me and I would rather live in a warm, tropical place.  I guess you could say that I have moved to 2 oppositely extreme places.  Maine is freezing cold and right now Arizona is beautiful and sunny in the 80’s, but I don’t think I will be able to easily stand outside when it gets 20 degrees hotter…

Now on the opposite spectrum:

Maine sometimes gets what feels like 5 months of winter weather and Arizona gets at least 3-4 months that are over 100 degrees.  I have thought about alternating between the 2 places, but that just is not very realistic with 2 cats because it is so far away.

So I refer back to my favorite mantra:

“When you stop growing it is time to get going!”

The thought of letting go is scary and makes me a little sad.  I was looking forward to living in that beautiful small town in the clouds, but I am letting go to chase bigger and better dreams.

Besides, I do not think that I can really live in a city that does not have a gym and I am not much of a winter sport enthusiast so I am taking this leap of faith into the unknown.  Now if the house does not sell at a  good price then I am keeping it for sure!  Talking about this definitely pulls at my heart strings.

On a happier note, I have a chance to live the life I have always dreamed of in Hawaii and there is a big chance that could be happening really soon!   I will keep you posted!

MARCH: PEACE

  • Yoga EVERY DAMN Day!!!
  • Sing.
  • Draw
  • Begin Spring cleaning.
  • Laugh out LOUD.

I did not do many of the things I planned on doing in March and I am honestly okay with that.  I was consistent with my healthy habits and that is what is important to me.  I think that these new April goals have come at a good time for me!


APRIL: GRIT

  • Wake up a little earlier for an early start.
  • Do what you must and do it with ALL your heart.
  • Train a little harder.
  • Blog everyday
  • Give something up.
  • Learn a new language and / or expand on what you have learned so far.
  • Study marketing.

I would like to start some of the goals that I set in the month of March this month.  Like my body would definitely benefit from some (a lot of yoga).
