Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
I feel great about the fact that my butt still feels sore from yesterday’s workout! That means the workout worked, right?!?!
My body image and confidence is improving with these workouts, but I still go through frequent periods of being extra critical of myself. And by “frequent periods” I mean 3-4 times a week! I guess when you are in the picture and you take a picture after every workout you start to wonder if you are even making progress… I am just going to keep going and trust the process.
I know in my heart that I am growing stronger everyday and I can feel the difference. My bad habits of putting myself down are just so strong and I am trying to catch myself each time it happens and to stop myself before the damage is done.

Today’s Word of the Day is:
unami– noun
- A strong meaty taste, often considered to be one of the basic taste sensations along with sweet, sour, bitter, and salty, imparted by glutamate and certain other amino acids.

In that first picture, I hated taking pics of myself because I was ashamed of my condition and I wanted to hide. Actually, back then I had made progress from where I was before. Now I am so glad that I take pictures so that I can celebrate my hard work and progress.
