Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
My legs were sore from yesterday’s Lower Body Workout! I am thrilled that my body is responding to pilates, yoga, and the fact that my workouts are body weight. I was concerned that I would not get results since I was lifting heavy weights in the gym for 5 months.
I really love my new home and feel like it is very conducive to learning how to love and respect myself. This is a journey that takes practice because I had gotten into the habit of being overly critical, harsh, and mean to myself.
Every time I move it gives me a chance to take time for self-reflection and think about who I am, how I would like to improve, and what kind of person I want to be. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to do this!
Today’s Workout is: Upper Body + Hiit + Lunch time yoga
7 Minute Ballet Cardio Warm-up:
I really enjoyed this warm-up and found a lot of joy in movement.
Snow Bunny Blast Fat-Burning Hiit: Complete this circuit 4 times!
Sometimes it is hard for me to re-do these workouts 4 times because it feels monotonous, but I challenged myself to do it and I am glad that I did! I reminded myself that every set is bringing me closer to my goals and it kept me motivated!
