Be-YOU-tifully YOU Project 2.0 Week #22


Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

June is here and I think the timing is perfect because I have been transitioning and I love getting a fresh start at the beginning of the month!  A year ago I was on an epic road trip adventure with 2 cars, 2 cats, and my sis.  It was the first time any of us had every been across country.  It was extra special because it was the year my sister turned 20 and the year that I turned 30 (I guess I am giving my age away here.)

The funny thing is that I feel younger now than I did when I was turning 20.  I think the key is to always be interested in learning about your world.  I have officially been in my new home for exactly a week and I absolutely love it!

It is kind of a stressful time since finals is rapidly approaching and I have to submit another proposal for one more internship.  Also graduation is rapidly approaching.  I am not going to make it to campus for graduation.  I am definitely kind of sad about this because I have worked so hard these past 4 years and have been looking forward to attending a graduation ceremony for the first time in my life, but I am also very happy to be here.  I will find a way to make my graduation day special.  The practical part of me know that it would not be worth-it to fly all the way back for the physical ceremony.  And really there is no place I would rather be than right here right now!

  • Re-organize your life.
  • Be brave.
  • Get creative.
  • Practice public speaking.
  • Paint something.
  • Do something you have never done before.
  • Go on an adventure.

My current lifestyle is so conducive to working on these goals!  I have no choice, but to re-organize my life with the move and it takes bravery to do so!  A new lifestyle requires creativity and while I still get major anxiety around new people and in new situations I must be brave and start cultivating new friendships and connections.  I would love to paint something soon.  I am doing so many things that I have never done before and I have already gone on a few adventures!

This week I blogged a little more and I got back on track with my workouts!  I think I have finally made peace with the fact that I will probably not have access to a gym in a long while.  I am looking forward to doing body weight workouts and learning to work with what I got!  I would like to be more creative and maybe get back into drawing.  It has been years so I will start small.  I picked up a sketch pad and some cheap colored pencils.
