My Summer 2019 Bucketlist

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

I am getting excited about spending summer in a brand new place.  A place where I can live out my dreams and explore more of my hobbies!

I have been so busy getting settled and cramming for finals that time is escaping me a little.  I guess it is a good idea to start planning and brainstorming now so that I can make things happen!

Here is my Summer 2019 Bucket-list:

  1. Go for a daily walk.
  2. Go to the beach at least once a week.
  3. Read at least 5 books.  I have honestly not been a very avid reader these days so this will be a realistic goal for me.
  4. Visit 3 local markets.
  5. Make some new friends.
  6. Do something I have never done before.
  7. Explore my world.
  8. Learn how to bake homemade bread.
  9. Spend more time outdoors.
  10. Plant a garden.
  11. Think about my future.
  12. Create a youtube channel?…
  13. Practice yoga or pilates daily.
  14. Dance.
  15. Draw.

Here are some pics from past summers!

  1. I love how laidback your bucket list is, I also want to start a YouTube channel soon. I just need to gain confidence 😅. Goodluck with your finals💕

    1. Thanks! I wanted it to be a lot more laidback than usual. I need to learn how to not stress and worry so much. I am with you on trying to gain the confidence to do the YouTube channel. I think that is what is delaying me from doing it too. We have to start somewhere right? You got this!

  2. Plant a garden! This is our little project too. I hope you have an awesome summer ahead! (I also think you’re going to conquer your bucket list. It’s very doable and has no pressures!

    1. Thanks Kat! What are you thinking of planting? I am impatient so I think I am going to get a few avocado tree starts at the local nursery. I would also love to plant gardenias. I am excited about gardening in this climate, but I am terrified of some bugs so this will give me a chance to face that fear 😉

I hope you will have an awesome summer too! Yeah, I wanted to make this list a little more laidback because I have a tendency to put a lot of pressure on myself. LOL. Hope you are doing well!

      1. We already have basil (but the insects are killing it), and bell peppers, chili, and aloe. The peppers haven’t produced anything yet maybe it’s too hot here right now. I think the temperature there is better! I’d love to see your garden in the future – you have tons of space it’s exciting!

      2. Hi Kat! It sounds like you have a nice garden 🙂 I have noticed that basil plants are picky. I never had much luck growing basil even back in Washington state. Are you able to grow peppermint there? It grew so well at my old place and I am hoping it will grow here. So far it looks like we mainly have lilkoi vines (passionfruit) and I am hoping a few coconut trees. I would love to grow herbs, gardenias, haydn mangoes, and avocados.
