Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
Today I was a day ahead all day. For some reason I was convinced that it was October 8th. I even txted my Dad to wish him a Happy Birthday (his birthday is on October 8th.) He was sweet and did not even correct me. I guess this means that I will wish him Happy Birthday again tomorrow. I might even give him a phone call.
I was in a much better mood today because I got more sleep and didn’t have whack a$$ dreams. It is amazing what a huge difference getting a good night’s sleep can make. Hopefully tonight will be even better. We went to the local diner for some biscuits and gravy with a side of bacon and as I slided into the booth I hit my knee so hard and my partner hit his funny bone at the exact same time (goodluck?! Lol) It still hurts right now and I hope tomorrow it will feel better.
Today’s Workout is: Total Body + Yoga
Lean, Long, & Lifted from head to toe
This was a great comprehensive workout that worked my body from head to toe. I had to modify accordingly since my knee was still sore, but I completed the entire workout and am so glad that I did!
Balancing Ocean Flow | Yoga with Adriene
This was a beautiful, relaxing, yet challenging practice. I like how she infused the balance work into the practice without making a big deal out of it.
Today’s Word of the Day is:
- Wander Aimlessly.
I am so thankful that today was a much better day than yesterday. Like I mentioned before, I think it helped to get more sleep. I was also feeling very under the weather and overwhelmed yesterday. Yesterday I was able to practice yoga, but I did not get to do any other kind of exercise.
I almost skipped today’s workout to “rest” since my knee is sore, but I am so glad that I decided to give it a try. I surprised myself tonight. I also spent two hours working in the garden and it was wonderful.
