Workout and Word of the Day #90

Hello My Dear Darling Friends!

Last night I felt tired and unmotivated to workout.  It did not help that our mainecoon Carl turned my yoga mat into his playground (aka pounce ground) and he refused to let me practice in peace 🙂

I have been very productive lately work wise and have been feeling much better.  I make it a point to spend time outdoors in the sunshine and I feel blessed to live in a place where the sun shines and it gets up to over 80 degrees.  The mosquitoes absolutely demolished my booty while I was working in the garden and I came back with 40 new bites.  It is apparent that the natural bug repellent I have been using is not very effective.  In fact, it seemed to act as a seasoning to make me even more delicious…  There’s gotta be a better way!

I like these comprehensive workouts that only require playing one video once.  Sometimes we have to repeat certain videos 3 or 4 times and it can get a little monotonous, but these ones are really nice.

Yoga for when you are stuck

This was a fun and creative practice to shake things loose and let go.  I can thankfully say that I do not feel so stuck anymore.  I did feel stuck for a while, but movement really helps me stay present and realize that my reality and this life I am living is amazing!

    Not sure if this will work – but put this rinse on your list of items t try….
    It is a three part Sinus rinse formula that I got from Dave at bulletproof (not sure if I shared it before? Cos I have shared the sinus rinse with many)
    Anyhow A a huge bonus for me at least has been the way it makes a nice body rinse! Comforting
    And bugs have left me
    Alone every time I have been in the yard – hubs had mosquito bite and I had nine last two months

    Just add it to your list to try sometime – I had it in a folder for a year! So glad I tried it
    To a half a Large bowl of water (Approx 3 cups or 24 to 30 oz of water) add:
    – 1 to 2 tablespoons of sea salt (I like
    Pink Himalayan)
    1 to 2 tablespoons of xylitol (I only use birch xylitol – no corn junk – and did you known xylitol is in toothpaste cos it is antibacterial?)
    1 to 3 drops of iodine (I use lugols – and the perk is that your thyroid will love the trace amounts absorbed through the skin!)
    Those three items are a power trio and I mix it with warm water and pour it over my hair and entire body- it makes the skin feel smooth and calm and as noted – side bonus was no mosquito bites!


    Last suggestion – spray the Outside of your shoes with a bug spray – it helps
    And I also spray the bottom of my bag when I travel –
