Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
Yesterday was an exceptionally wonderful day. A dear friend of mine came to visit me and it was the first time we have seen each other in the past 8 years. We made coffee and talked and visited for hours. It turned out that all of my nervousness and anxiety was unnecessary. All I had to do was be myself.
After the visit, my boyfriend and I drove to Hilo and went for a walk around Hawaii’s largest Japanese garden. The weather was absolutely perfect and today looks like it will be another stunning beauty of a day.
When I got home, I spent the evening looking over photographs from the day, but also photographs of the past. I caught myself envying my 22 year old self and the way I smiled and my skin glowed. I started being critical of my current self saying that the shape of my head is ugly. Isn’t it awful that we are such harsh judges of ourselves? At least I am. It turns out that I have more work to do. By the evening I felt drained and unmotivated, but I decided to at least do yoga since it was the beginning of the month and I don’t want to skip workouts.

This was a good way to get back into improving my posture. I want to start doing some ballet or dance style workouts this month. I am happiest when I am a dancer.

This practice was EXACTLY what I needed. I had beautiful dreams at night. Slept better than I have in a long time and woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested.
