Hello My Dear Darling Friends!
This was Day 1 of my 8 week workout program. Luckily for me, it was fitness testing day which was a nice way to ease myself into the program. It has been a long time since I have done a fitness test and I don’t know if I have ever really stuck with a program and taken consistent measurements. I chose this program to take the guess work out of my workouts. Please feel free to join along with me!
Workout of the Day: Fitness Testing + Improve your feet arches the right way + Yoga

Fitness Blender Physical Fitness Test:
This video will walk you through the physical fitness test. I wrote down my results so that I can compare them to future results. It starts with a 1 mile run or walk. I was going to skip this since I do not have a treadmill and I did not really want to run through my neighborhood. I usually just stick to my road since this neighborhood is out in the country and sometimes has dogs that are loose or even wild pigs. I do see folks walking and running, but I do not think it is that pedestrian friendly. Better safe than sorry, right. I still got myself to go for a 1 mile walk. At least it is something considering I was not even going to do it.
5 Minute cool-down and stretching:
After this, I went on with my day for a few hours before returning to my mat for yoga and something dance-related.
Improve your feet arches the right way:
This was a little different from foot stretches I have done in the past. Please be very careful and gentle with your feet listen to your body and do not overdo it.

Here are my physical fitness test results:
- 1 Mile walk- 20:42
- Push-ups- 20
- Squats- 35
- Static Plank- 00:29.55
- Sit and Reach- 3.4 inches
I have definitely surpassed these stats in the past. Just last summer I was able to do 100 full push-ups. I can also do more squats and probably hold the plank longer, but I was focusing on good form and the minute I broke my form I stopped.
